Happy belated birthday to half the Daniels family with May/June birthdays (Carrie, Anita, Molly, Kim, Elizabeth, Marcia...)! :-) My goodness, we rock. What does this birth record tell you about the months of July & August, though? Come to think of it, those were always the months we went up to Judd's...a.k.a. the baby-making resort. Just kidding.
I did want to let you know that I love each of you and am continuing to pray for you. I'm glad the chemo has been kind to you so far, Aunt Nita!!! I love you!
I just found your blog recently. It's a great way to keep family and friends informed (even us in Australia). I appreciate the effort to keep it current. We pray for healing and God's peace. He is Good. I'm glad that chemo is starting well and pray it sill provide for additional precious family time. It's fun to hear news about your family.
You may know that Natalie was diagnosed with MS recently. Her symptoms are mild. She saw Jerome Freeman, a neurologist in Sioux Falls on Monday the 5th and started treatment with daily injections of Copaxone. She, and all of us, are going through some major emotional termoil, as you can imagine. Dale has been with her for a few weeks and Alicia has been up from Florida. They've been staying at Okoboji since Natalie finished her 3rd year at Cedarville the end of May. Dale and Natalie hope to return to Australia June 19th. Natalie will stay until early August before returning to school. Please pray for our family as we move through more transitions.
Anita: Our prayers have been with you and your family since Bryce let us know about the cancer. Tim let me know about the blog today. What an awesome way for us to stay in touch. We admire your courage and strength. We visit the Rochester area frequently, so if you ever need some company or just support while you are there be sure to let us know.
I just received an e-mail from Nicki M.about your blog. It came as a shock to our family as we had not heard. I am reminded of all the great summers we had traveling with the Whitecaps. It was at these games where we got to know the Daniels. What good times we had. As I think on those times I remember the time Tyler was catching in Le Mars and collapsed over home plate. I was so frightened. Anita, you came over to me with tears in your eyes and gave me reassurance. What a caring and thoughtful person you are! I admire you as a mother, wife and fellow Christian.
We pray that the Chemo goes well for you and will not be too hard.
Carrie, Kim, Ben & Molly - you have been blessed with a wonderful Mom and I can tell how much you know this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we pray for continued strength and courage.
