Mom peacefully passed away today at 12:45 pm. We are thankful that all of our immediate family was able to be there with her as she went home to be with Jesus.
Mom's visitation will be held on Tuesday night at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home (300 Cayuga St. in Storm Lake). The funeral will be held at Oakdale Evangelical Free Church (near Meriden) on Wednesday morning. As soon as we have decided the times I will post them, along with directions to the church.

Dear Doctor Daniels and Family, We were so sorry to read the web site but know it was coming. Maybe you can rest easy as she is resting easy. No one can hurt her anymore. She's the lucky one as she has found her permanent home. It doesn't seem fair but that's apparently what God had intended for her. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Remember there are angels all around you to help you out. And some of those angels aren't just in spirit, but the family and friends in your life. Love, Cheryl, Delbert, and Halli

Dear Tim and family,
May your comfort be abundant through Christ today and in the days to come.
As we grieve with you, we have this hope:
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.” (I Thessalonians 4:16-18)
In Christ's love,

Tim & Family,
We're sorry for the loss of Anita, a great wife, mother and friend.
While we're sad that her time here on earth has ended, we rejoice knowing she's in a much better place.
Knowing that Anita loved her time in the garden, we know she'll be smiling in the "Master's garden".
She was truly an Angel among us and touched everyone who knew her.
We're thankful you had time as a family to reflect the past few months sharing stories, pictures and even recipes. Thank you for sharing with everyone through this blog.
We continue to pray for you all through this difficult time.
God Bless!
The Morks
As the hymn goes...
'When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!'
'When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory!
We are saddened to hear of Anita's passing, but rejoice that she is home.
Hopefully one day soon we will all 'sing & shout the victory' and be with Anita in the place that our Father has prepared for us.
May God grant you all unsurpassable peace as you continue the days ahead.
With much love & prayer,
Jeff & Kelly Capps
Dr Daniels and family,
Our thoughts are with you at this time in the passing of your dear wife, mother, and a GRANDMA/ This site Carrie has been such a great thing and all the pictures and special words that have been seen and said is a true blessing of one's journey in life. As I read of the passing of Anita made me think of not long ago my dad going. Want to share with you a special note that was sent to me at that time and I frequently have to read it.
I'm Free
Dont't grieve for me for now I'm free.
I am following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting hs left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Ah, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full. I savored much.
Good family, good friends, good times, a loved one touched.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
Our thoughts with you .
Terry Bue (Ron,too)

Dr. Daniels,
Please accept our deepest sympathies at the loss of Anita. Mom told us about her blog site and we have followed it faithfully. We have kept all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Tell everyone how sorry we are for your loss. Tonight we will say one more prayer for Anita and her final journey home.
Shawna (McKenna), Steve, Bridget and Patrick Clifford
Dear Tim and family,
When we last saw Anita on July 4, her prayer request for us was that she would glorify God through her illness. Indeed, that prayer was answered through her unshakable faith and godly witness as she battled her illness. We can only imagine the rejoicing taking place in heaven today.
We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.
With love,
Rokk and Lu Ann Ridout
Dear Tim and Family,
Anita's life was a testimony to her great love of God and His great love for her. Anyone who spent any time with her could see and feel God's face reflected in her smile and her caring. Her life was a testimony to God and in her dying she showed us all what it means to die with faith in Christ. God's glory was seen in her suffering and her death. This blog has enabled us all to share her final journey and walk her home. Thank you for that privilege. May God bless you with strength and courage and peace in the days ahead. We share this song as a reminder that Anita now rests with Jesus as she lived with Him.
Thy Holy Wings O Savior spread gently over me and let me rest securely through good and ill in thee. O be my strength and portion, my rock and hiding place. And let my every moment be lived within thy grace.
God bless you,
Sheryl Kleppe and Jolene Manzey
Dear Tim and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We have been uplifted by Anita's magnificent faith and the love shown by the family during her illness. What an amazing reflection of Christ's love and a tremendous witness to the community. We are praying for God's peace.
Jim and Dale Gamache
You all have continually been in our prayers this week. Thank you for sharing with us through this site. Anita has meant so much to so many through the years. What a godly legacy she leaves. Our prayer now is that you will intimately know the peace of Christ that surpasses all comprehension in these next days.
Hal and Joanne Tucker
What a blessed family. We have followed the web-sight daily and have been praying that God would deliver her from the cancer, and He has. What a blessing to have been able to spend the time with her worshiping together, and she was able to see the wedding also.
We love you all, and will continue to pray for a long time in the future.
Super job on the blog! It sure helps to know how to pray. Thanks so much for keeping it up to date.
I am sorry for your loss, but we know it is only temporary.
Tim and family- Patrice and I have prayed for strength to see you through this ordeal. Praise God we will see Anita again one day when we're in heaven! That's a great comfort to know that she settled that question. We know that her absence will be great and we also know that God's love will fill that absence gradually in time. Kids, what a great blessing it is to have had a Mom like Anita who raised you to serve the Lord . Tim, I remember you told me 9 years ago that if I needed anything or just wanted to talk, you were available. We would offer ourselves in the same way to you and pray that in God's time you would take us up on the offer. Words can't began to express our grief nor can our human minds appreciate fully what you are feeling right now. May you hold the fond remembrances of Anita with two hands until you see her again. With love because He first loved us, Bill and Patrice Thompson and Kyle
We went to Bethel with Jon and heard about Carrie's mom's illness from my parents who attend South Suburban EFC. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time of loss.
It only took a short time for all who were "touched by"each one of the Daniels's family to know what truly good friends they are....(and Doctor also). But God's Hands are around this family with His Love and their loss. It is very hard to send someone back to God as we always think it is not time. For Anita....God
gave her the title of "Angel" long ago. God Bless you All!! And remember after the rain there is a rainbow.
Ken and Janet
To the Daniels family-
My thoughts are with you and your family during this time of loss. Anita was a wonderful person that always seemed to have a smile. I was blessed to have known her. My deepest sympathy-

Dear all,
We are so sorry. Words seem inadequate...
Eight months ago, we watched our "Uncle Morley" suffer from cancer. It comforts us to know that Anita and Morley are pain-free and in the arms of Jesus.
We'll continue to pray for you. Here's a verse that has helped our family:
"God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4, AMP)
We send you our love and prayers.

Dear Daniels family-
As I sit here and try to think of something comforting to say I am taken back to the days surrounding my mothers death five years ago. I was in a cloud of haze and in disbelief of my and family's impending loss. I was focused on myself and my greif. My mother, like your Anita was an amazing woman, and the most Godly person I ever knew. However, I struggeled to understand why God was taking her from us so soon. She was in so much pain it had been weeks since she had last smiled. It had been days since she had tried to communicate with us at all. However, in her final moments she sat up in bed, raised her arms up to Heaven and smiled the biggest smile I have ever seen. We all knew that she saw Jesus. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. As the days passed I began to realize that there was pourpose in her death. It changed me and I believe it changed many other peoples lives that heard the story.
Anita's life and death are a testamony of God's love and faithfulness to us all. She was an amazing woman and everyone that knew her knew that she loved Christ with all her heart. This website that you have so gracously shared with others is a testament to unbelievers and to believers alike that God it with us, he loves us, and that he is faithful to his promises. Your mother has touched our lives and undoutedly has changed the lives of others. What A blessing she has been to us all. In Christ's love;
until we all get home.
Shelly (Pyle) Green
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this overwhelming time. Thank you, Carrie, for this touching memorial to your Mom; we feel blessed to have witnessed all the love that surrounded Anita, from so many wonderful individuals.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Wife and Mother. I can't imagine your pain, but I know you will find strength in each other, your wonderful community and your faith.
I didn't know her personally, but I can tell she was loved by many and touched even more.
God Bless you all.

Dear Doctor Daniels & Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. It was amazing how Anita always had a smile to share even during these most difficult times. As the words of the hymn "On Eagle's Wings": "And he will raise you up on eagle's wings, bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun, and hold you in the palm of his hand", I believe Anita has been raised up on eagle's wings. Thank you for the honor of sharing her journey to heaven over these past several months. With utmost prayers and sympathy, Sue, Tim, Jeff & Matt Speers
Dear Daniels Family,
